    Please follow the following steps to register for 2020-2021 school year in the Atlantic City School District:

    • Step 1  Complete Online Application (application link is at the bottom of the page)
    • Step 2  Schedule an appointment online once application is complete 
    • Step 3  Central Registration will contact you before your scheduled appointment (DO NOT COME TO THE BUILDING Pre K-8th only)
    • Step 4  You will receive an email listing the documents needed to complete registration
    • Step 5  Parent will email all documents (Make sure all documents are clear and legible)
    • Step 6  If you are living with a friend/family member, that person must provide their lease and ID and a notarized affidavit. (Request an affidavit be sent to you via email)
    • Step 7  If you are registering a Preschool student the parent/guardian registering the child must have 4 proofs of residency under their name along with proof of income and the other required documents.  (Email each document individually 1st and last page of lease, utility bills, other proofs of residency).
    • Step 8  Preschool students are required to have a physical and a flu shot in order to apply
    • Step 9  Once all documentation is received via email, childs folder will be processed, parent will be given a projected start date and student will be assigned to a school based on zoning
    • Step 10 Parent will reach out to the assigned school to make arrangements to pick up a chromebook and receive the name of the homeroom teacher.

    • Include in the email a photo copy of you lease, photo ID and 3 other proofs of residency if available
    • If address changes the school, school placement will be determined by address and availablilty

    ***High School Registration***

    • High school students living outside of Atlantic City must be registered in the school district in which they reside. 
    • Parents must complete Pre-registration online and schedule an appointment
    • Student must be present during your appointment date
    • Transcripts from previous school is required along with the other pertinent documents such as birth certificate and immunization records.

    Appointments for High School registration will be held at the Atlantic City High School's Guidance Department at 1400 N Albany Avenue.  Please EMAIL the High School (gbrooks@acboe, mcastillo@acboe.org) with any questions you may have in reference to the registration process and what is required during your appointment time.  You can contact Ms. Brooks at (609) 343-7300 ext. 2185 or Ms. Castillo at ext. 2427.
