Emergency Remote or Virtual Plan
-
As required by the NJDOE, all districts must submit a plan for continuing instruction during public health emergencies. This plan aligns with guidance from the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) and the CDC, while incorporating Atlantic City Public Schools’ local protocols. The district thanks the school community for their input via surveys.
This plan enables a seamless transition to virtual or remote learning when necessary—such as during inclement weather or health-related closures—ensuring that students remain engaged and the district continues to meet the 180-day instructional requirement.
