ACHS Boys' Track Team Achieved Undefeated Season

ATLANTIC CITY — The Atlantic City High School Boys' track team concluded its season undefeated, boasting a record of 8 wins, 0 losses, and 1 tie.
“This remarkable achievement showcases the dedication and talent of a team driven by determination and excellence in Track & Field,” said Boys Track Head Coach Roy Wesley. Leading the team was Senior Zamier Lee, honored as the Most Valuable Performer (MVP) for his outstanding contributions. Alongside him, the Most Improved Track Senior Julian Loaize-Ramos demonstrated significant growth and commitment. Additionally, sprinter/pole vaulter Mikal Butts played a crucial role in the team’s success.
The team's strength was amplified by the efforts of numerous athletes across various events. Sprinters De’Mir Faulkner, Evan Johnson, and Chamall Weldon Haines delivered impressive performances throughout the season. The distance runners, including Reed Burns, Hector Penaranda, Muhammad Khan, and William Harris, showcased endurance and resilience in their races. The throwers, Judaryl Pittman, Tariq Ransome, Aboubaca Toure, and Edgar Camacho-Garcia, displayed power and technique in their events. Hurdlers Isaiah Wilson and Javonte Johnson excelled with their agility and speed, while jumper Rashif Pennington made significant contributions with his leaps.
“The collective effort and spirit of these athletes have set a high standard for future teams and have brought immense pride to Atlantic City High School,” Wesley said. “The team's undefeated record is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship.”
