Atlantic City grad Nazim Derry making leap, transferring to Division I for basketball
Nazim Derry is moving up. The Atlantic City High School graduate played basketball the last two seasons with Goldey-Beacom College, an NCAA Division II program in Delaware. Derry tweeted April 18 his commitment to play next season with D-I University of New Hampshire.

New scholarship awards money to Atlantic City High School seniors
Ahnjeles Maldonado and Jai Pridgen-Hill, two Atlantic City High School seniors, hold up T-shirts from the Kendal Hudgins Scholarship Fund, which recently held its inaugural scholarship dinner at Sugar Factory at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. Both students received $1,000 through the scholarship fund.

Boys Indoor Track 4 x 400 qualified took 6th from unseated heat at the SJ G4 Sectional Track meet
The Indoor Track team has been in a rebuilding and promising year. Team had only two Seniors and the rest are mostly Juniors. All athletes have been steadily improving all year cumulating in 12 personal records in the last NJ G4 Sectional Track Meet alone.

Stockton to honor rowing leaders Holland, Peterson
Stockton University will honor alumni Sue Peterson at the Rowing & Growing with the Ospreys fundraising event. Peterson rowed for one of the first girls crew teams at Atlantic City High School.
