    The sign-in time is between 7:30am (support staff) - 7:40am (certified staff) and sign-out time is between 2:40pm (certified staff) - 3:30 pm (support staff).

    The 2022-23 Official School Calendar lists all dates for the 2022-23 school year. The calendar my change depending on whether the district designates any regular school days as nonattendance days due to snow or other inclement weather.

    Commencement will be held on June 22, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall. Graduates will receive 10 tickets each. All guests need tickets to attend.

    The ACHS Spring Concert will be held June 8th, 2022 at 6pm in the ACHS Auditorium (free admission). Performances by ACHS Chorus, ACHS Choir, ACHS Orchestra, ACHS Marching Band, and ACHS Concert Band & Guests.

  • ACHS Mask Optional effective 3/7/22

    On March 7, 2022, Governor Phil Murphy will no longer require masks or face coverings for students, staff or visitors in schools. The governor's decision was based on the significant decline of COVID-19 cases in New Jersey. As a result, effective March 7, the Atlantic City School District will no longer require masks. Staff, students or visitors to all buildings may wear masks as an option with no limitations.

  • Atlantic City High School teacher turns 80; no plans to retire anytime soon

    Carol Schreibman’s energy fills the classroom as she reads Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Cask of Amontillado.” Students hold back their giggles at the dramatic emphasis she places on each word. For this 80-year-old Atlantic City High School English teacher, teaching is not just her job but her life’s purpose.

    You are invited! The Atlantic City High School Annual Winter Concert tradition returns next Wednesday, December 15th, at 6pm in the ACHS Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public, so please consider bringing your family and friends for a night of great music prepared by our music students from the ACHS Choirs, Orchestra, and Band.
