Mighty Writers Workshop
The Mighty Writers Teen Fellowship is a paid fellowship program for 9th through 12th graders enrolled in a city high school. Fellows will learn about journalism and storytelling while documenting the communities in which they live.
We have 10 spots available at each site (30 openings total). Fellows earn a $750 stipend for participating ($50 per session). Sessions may be virtual or in-person.
Atlantic City: Wednesdays, Feb. 14-May 29, 4-6 p.m.
Camden: Tuesdays, Feb. 13-May 28, 6-8 p.m.
Newark: Thursdays, Feb. 15-May 30, 4-6 p.m.
Successful applicants will bring their whole selves to this application. Write in your own voice about what matters to you. There is no right answer: We are looking for students with a variety of interests and talents, and above all, those who are excited to share the best stories of their city.
