International Mother Language Day

Last week, Atlantic City High School celebrated International Mother Language Day. Did you know that 41 languages and dialects are spoken at ACHS?

JANUARY VIKING NEWS

In this edition of Viking News, we'll preview the Battle by the Bay basketball tournament which takes place January 31st-February 2nd plus show you a halftime show you don't want to miss. We'll show you the new hi-tech monitors at the gym, tell you about the blood drive at the school, and you'll find out what students will be giving their loved ones on Valentine's Day.

Stockton FAFSA Completion Workshop

Stockton University will be hosting a FAFSA completion workshop January 29th from 8:30 - 10:30 AM. The workshop is open to ACHS students and their parent/guardians. Please make sure you have the appropriate documents prior to the workshop.

Local high school students learn about aviation career opportunities at Atlantic cape’s Annual Aviation Day

Approximately 50 students from Atlantic City and Egg Harbor Township high schools and the Atlantic County Institute of Technology, attended Atlantic Cape Community College’s Annual Aviation Day on May 22 at the Mays Landing campus.

H.S. Students Get Hands-On Look at Marine Field Station's Work

The outreach is an educational component of three research studies by three Stockton professors. Students helped build water drifters with Anna Pfeiffer-Herbert, “flew” a new underwater remote operated vehicle (ROVs) with Peter Staub and used sonar to identify shipwrecks and marine debris with Stephen Nagiewicz and Mark Sullivan.
